Feeling good!

Things here are G-R-E-A-T!! I'm sure I've had it easy so far since I have had help almost every single day though... Aaron was here Monday and Tuesday, my step mom was here Wednesday, and my mom has been here all day today. But in all honesty - I haven't found it that hard to adjust to having two kids versus only having one. Jackson has been such a HUGE help and loves his sister so much. He hasn't acted jealous or thrown fits when I spend time with her and that in itself has been a big help. I can't believe that he's turned into this amazing big brother and big kid. Where did the past three years go? Where did my other baby go? Geeze I hate growing up...

Addie is doing amazing. I do get frustrated some at night when she thinks she should stay up after eating and be held the whole time. She's been waking up and staying up for a few hours in the middle of the night but I should also say that she usually goes about 4 or 5 hours in between feedings which is amazing. So I have it easy, but I don't. I think we may have figured out that she just needs to eat more at night though. We gave her another 2 ounces last night and she fell asleep a little quicker than normal so maybe she's just growing and is hungrier than she usually is. We'll try a full four ounces tonight and see if she does it again. **Cross your fingers!!**

Megan got induced this morning. They just gave her a pill so start her contractions. I guess it's a pill used for abortions but once you're full term it's just inducing - I don't know what it's called and I have never heard of anything like it. Oh well. Well she's still only 1 centimeter dilated, 0.5% effaced [yes, less than 1%] and only having mild contractions. They're going to hook her up to pitosin tonight and see if that'll do the trick. So she got to spend her 23rd birthday laying in a hospital bed. Fun fun. I just know that I'm VERY anxious to finally be an aunt. I can't wait to meet baby Anderson!

Mom and I went to Target today and I drove us there. It's always weird to drive again after not getting behind the wheel for over a week but I felt great and did great. Well, I've never been a good driver so I did great for me ;) It's always so nice to get out of the house and into this amazing weather. The house gets so stuffy, even with the windows open, so I get really excited about these simple outings. Even getting the mail is a big deal :)

I haven't uploaded any new pics so I'll have to post those later. My little girl changes by the minute, I swear. And once Aaron gets here, we're heading to Kohls to get some shopping done. I'm very excited about that too!

Your poor sister! Jeesh...why didn't they just wait unti her body was a little more ready to have this baby! At least she could lay in her own bed on her birthday.

Hmmm...maybe that's what I'll do this year on my birthday, since I'll be entering my "late 20's" and all....

Sorry, got a bit side tracked. I'm so glad you and your family are adjusting so well! It's so amazing how resilient kids are and how well they can adjust to big change. I wonder when it is we lose that....

Can't wait to see more pics! Have an awesome weekend with your babies ;)

I'm glad you're getting adjusted. And that you have a good support system to come help you out. So great!
It's so weird now that all the girls that were pregnant are having their babies... they're everywhere! ha :) I hope Meg is doing well - considering. What a crappy way to spend your birthday... :-/
Have a good weekend!

Ahhh yes I did find out! And I am exempt. I was like PHEW! I have to fill another one out for next semester though...although my situation won't be different so I don't anticipate problems!

How was your weekend?

Yeah the concert was fun. I had won those tickets back in February! So I'd been waiting for awhile to go!
