Germs germs go away

Sarah = super sick. I seriously haven't been this sick in a very long time and I didn't miss it one bit! I even had to cancel plans with a good friend today because I feel so crummy :( And do you know what is worse than being sick and feeling awful? Still having to take care of two kids while you are sick and feel awful. I try to sleep a lot to get rid of it but you can only sleep so much while taking care of kids... both kids have been really congested lately too. Jackson is basically over his but Adelyn is still having some problems and I really hate using that dang nose sucker on her. And she hates it too... Aaron is sick too but not as bad as I am. I just pray that Brodie is a trooper and doesn't get our yucky germs.

I've been trying my darndest to get a picture of Addie smiling and NO LUCK! Ugh. She smiles a lot now but I can never catch it on my camera. Here is the tail end of a smile so you get the idea but you still can't see how incredibly cute it is...



Jackson is seriously a great big brother. He loves on her all the time and I feel proud that I raised such a tender hearted kid!


And the always fun "tummy time" which is funny because she has to sleep on her tummy but doesn't want to be on her tummy when she's awake. I don't get it... this is also her first pair of blue jeans. Aww...


Brodie got his routine "buzz" last night. I love rubbing his head after he gets his hair cut! He was so funny last night just being a goof and loving on Adelyn.


And lastly - Jackson going potty. He's really good about peeing in the potty and letting us know when he has to go but we basically have to force him to poo on the potty and not in his pull up or underwear [cleaning poo out of underwear is NOT my most favorite thing to do...] So today he tells me that he has to go potty and I'm assuming pee. Nope. He poo'ed! And how did he let me know? I'm in the living room and he's in the bathroom [he can go all by himself now and doesn't like me to help very often - except when he needs his butt wiped] and he yells "MOM!! THERE ARE TWO HUGE TURDS! TWO MOM!! TWO!!" Ahh the joys... The picture is of him looking at his poo. Every time he goes, he has to look at it... I swear...


That is the latest on our household. I'm excited that the weekend is here! I'm ready for some good times with some good friends!
