I have been wanting a blizzard forever. I don't care if it snows as long as it means that I can stay home in my jammies and do nothing all day long, so when they were calling for a blizzard last week, I was ecstatic!
The snow... well the snow was slightly disappointing. I was hoping for drifts the size of the light poles and something that would go down in history. Not so much.
But that's beside the point because I was still snowed in! Everything in the county was shut down and that included my office. The first thing the kids asked for when they woke up was if we could have a Glee marathon. Um... deal. We watched a handful of episodes and then we spent the day...
...working on spelling words. Brodie loves doing them as long as he gets to do them online at www.spellingcity.com. Check it out if you have a kiddo who hates working on spelling words.
...potty training. Or at least taking another step in that direction. I love her little cheeks hanging out of her pajama top.
...sleeping. Poor Jackson was sick. Check him to the doc the next day and it was strep. I knew it!
...and in my jammie pants and slippers.
Best. Day. Ever.
But the snow can go away now. I'm so over it!
